Superb menus priced from €35 per person will offer outstanding value for unique culinary specials with locally sourced produce during the event which runs from Friday, June 1st- Sunday, June 10th inclusive.
Fifteen of the top restaurants in Limerick and the Shannon region will offer an outstanding fine dining experience at exceptional prices. The ethos of the event will again be a celebration of local produce, great Irish food and organic produce.

As part of Love Gourmet Week, midweek promotions will take place in all participating restaurants with wine deals, cocktail specials and unique seasonal menus on offer to celebrate the event.
Every evening, diners will be presented with a special “Love Gourmet Week” menu featuring locally produced top quality gourmet specials to choose from.

“Limerick and the Shannon Region have some fantastic restaurants with quality food, wine and great dining options to choose from so we’re hoping to attract new visitors and foodies through Love Gourmet Week again this year, following on from last’s years success” said Padraic.

“We’re very excited about this initiative as it’s a chance for diners to get a wonderful fine dining experience at an incredible price and it helps promote Limerick and the Shannon Region as a culinary destination.”

ELECTROLUX PROUDLY SPONSOR TASTE OF DUBLIN 2012

ELECTROLUX TO PREVIEW NEW INSPIRATION RANGE AT TASTE OF DUBLIN 2012

ELECTROLUX is the proud sponsors of the 2012 Taste of Dublin which takes place on 14th-17th June 2012 in the beautiful surroundings of The Iveagh Gardens.

World renowned chef Jamie Oliver will open the event with a live cooking demonstration for the first time at Taste of Dublin and will be working his magic on the new Electrolux range of
domestic appliances in the Electrolux Chefs theatre.

The highly anticipated and stylish new range known as the “Inspiration Range” has been developed by professionals and adapted for the consumer and will launch this summer to the Irish market.
Electrolux is delighted to be involved in such a prestigious event and with prominent Irish chefs such as Rachel Allen, Derry Clarke, Paul Flynn, Clodagh McKenna, Catherine Fulvio, Darina Allen and Neven Maguire joining forces with International names such as Jean Christophe Novelli and Valentine Warner it is sure to stir up a culinary delight for all in attendance.
Throughout Taste of Dublin the Electrolux Inspiration Academy will see numerous cookery classes scheduled each day. The cooking academy will be fitted with the latest range of home appliances known as the Inspiration Range so that guests can experience the latest in new technology and be one of the first to preview this new and exciting collection. Each class will be run by the talented Lynda Booth from The Dublin Cookery School who will provide a feast of culinary cooking classes for those lucky enough to get a place over the course of four days. With numerous guest chefs on hand, food enthusiasts are certain to scramble for the chance to learn, cook and experience the new Inspiration range from Electrolux while also indulging in a fun, creative and enjoyable class. From casual diners to more discerning food lovers, the cookery classes are a must for those who want to learn from the professionals.

Graham Bremer, Head of Marketing, Electrolux UK & Ireland commented:

“Electrolux is delighted to be headline sponsor for Taste of Dublin for the first time. With over 90 years of expertise in professional appliances this exciting celebration of Irish and International food is the perfect partnership to showcase our new Electrolux Inspiration range, developed for Professional chefs and now adapted for consumers”.
CombiSteam integrates steam plus hot air cooking which is a technology that Electrolux actually invented for professionals, and makes it easy to use at home, thanks to great ergonomics and highly intuitive touch screen control menus including Direct Access Rotary controls on induction hobs for precision cooking. Steam-plus-hot-air cooking prevents cross-contamination of flavours when cooking more than one thing at a time and keeps food warm without drying it out. Both of these benefits are important to professionals and to people entertaining at home. It’s a perfect match.
The Electrolux Professional Division is the number one supplier to professional kitchens and laundries in Europe, comments Graham Bremer of Electrolux. “Professionals demand appliances that deliver outstanding results reliably and efficiently and make it easier for them to do their jobs. In that sense, they don’t differ from domestic customers, so it’s only natural we adapt the same principles in product development.”
The calibre of National and International chefs at Taste this year has led to great excitement and with an array of dishes, master classes and cookery courses going on each day, the prestigious event was a perfect fit for the forward thinking and innovative Electrolux brand.
